United Way of Central Minnesota is committed to our mission to improve people's lives by mobilizing the caring power of Central Minnesota. This is a critical point in time for our organization to advocate for and connect resources to accelerate community solutions.
COVID-19 Relief Fund
In response to the emerging needs in our community, United Way of Central Minnesota has launched the COVID-19 Relief Fund and contributed $25,000 to assist with predominant issues identified by our community partners and 2-1-1 requests for assistance.
- One of the most critical needs is childcare for those providing essential medical and emergency services, and for those impacted by the mandatory closures.
- Food requests are also increasing and we believe this will require a substantial investment.

Central Minnesota is a wonderful place to live and this community has supported United Way of Central Minnesota for over 52 years. Currently, we are dealing with an issue that is affecting our community in ways we never imagined, but Central Minnesota has always stood up and to the need and I know that now, more than ever, you will continue to do so.
