COVID-19

As the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we have the safety of our staff, community partners, and the general public as our top priority. We want to let you know that United Way of Central Minnesota will continue to provide service to our community and we will be doing our part to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Business Continuity

We are monitoring and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Minnesota Department of Health, local public health officials, and United Way Worldwide. We are developing contingency plans in preparation for a variety of scenarios — including the ability to work from home.

Community Support

United Way 2-1-1 Resource Hotline: We are providing this valuable community resource with the latest information we have from the non-profit community — and we are encouraging anyone who may be in need of assistance accessing food, or any other essential service, to dial 2-1-1 or text MNCOVID to 898-211. A Certified Community Resource Specialist will help you find available resources.

United Way of Central Minnesota's Funding for our non-profit partners will remain intact.

Office Hours: The United Way of Central Minnesota office will be closed on Monday, March 16 to allow for planning and system testing. We will re-open Tuesday, March 17 as the situation allows and our staff will continue to be available during normal business hours.

Events and Meetings

We are canceling or moving to a virtual format for all events through March 31. We will continue to assess events scheduled to take place after that date.

We recommend The Minnesota Department of Health's website for guidance and current information.

Thank you your continued partnership during this difficult time. We will continue to keep you updated as changes occur.
