Crisis Nursery

Crisis Nursery offers parents who are experiencing a stressful situation resources and referrals. A temporary, voluntary safe space for children (age infant-12) for a few hours. Up to 72 continuous hours of care may be avail- able as a last resort.

Cokato Area Food Shelf

The Cokato Area Food Shelf is available for residents in the Dassel/Cokato area. To sign up, they need to call Elim Mission Church at 320-286-2662 Monday through Thursday. Pick up is Friday morning at 9:30. The church office is open 9:00am - 3:00pm. Monday-Thursday, but they must call by Thursday at noon to sign up for that Friday’s pick up. It is for emergency use only and proof of residence and children’s birth certificates may be required. Use is limited to monthly, with six uses total, after which they are required to meet with one of the area pastors before receiving more help. Save & Share Thrift Shop – Hours: Thursday 1:00pm -7:00pm., Friday 10:00am – 5:00pm., Saturday 10:00am – 1:00pm. These shop hours are for BOTH donation drop off and shopping. Located at 511 Cokato St. W (behind the grounds). There is a donation asked for items, yet at a reduced price. If you have donation of larger quantity of items call (320) 286-5895 to make an appointment.
