School Supply Drive

United Way of Central Minnesota is collecting school supplies from now through August 14

Did you know you can help ensure students in our service area have the essential school supplies they need to succeed? 

Many children start the school year without the basic tools they need to learn and succeed. Access to supplies like notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other classroom essentials can make a meaningful difference in a student's educational experience.

Join us in supporting local students as they head back to school. Your donation will help ensure Central Minnesota kids have the supplies they need to start the year ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

Here's how you can get involved:

Collect Supplies

Consider holding a school supply collection at your workplace, fitness center, faith community, or other gathering place to help support local students in need. Items may be dropped off at:

Drop off donations until Friday, August 14. 

Most needed items are: 

• Backpacks

• Pencils

• Notebooks

• Folders

• Pencil boxes

• 24 count crayons

• 12 count color pencils

• Markers

• Glue sticks

• Scissors

• Rulers

• Pencil sharpeners

• Dice

• Deck of cards

• Loose-leaf paper

• Pink Erasers
• Facial Tissues
• Trapper keeper

Items for student hygiene kits:

• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Bodywash/Soap
• Toothbrush
• Toothpaste
• Deodorant
