Born Learning Trail Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

United Way of Central Minnesota, in partnership with Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union, the City of Waite Park and volunteers, invites the community to a ribbon cutting as we officially open the Born Learning Trail. Join us for fun activities, vendors, prizes, snacks and more at Lions Park, 540 St. Andrews Drive, Waite Park.

 

A Born Learning Trail is interactive and designed for children to use with the help of an adult. The trail consists of 10 signs, written in English, Spanish and Somali, and contains activities that promote child-adult interaction and development of early learning skills such as letter naming, rhyming, using words and identifying numbers, shapes, colors and using imagination to create and tell stories.
