Director of Out-of-School Partnerships
What do you do at United Way of Central Minnesota?
My work is primarily focused on education and with out-of-school time initiatives. I help set up programs for young people to attend when they are not in school. Many of these academic and enrichment activities take place right after the school day ends. My role manages these relationships with individuals, schools and local organizations.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
The aspect of my work that I enjoy the most is seeing the healthy growth that occurs in both the adults and young people I work with in Central Minnesota. I enjoy that I can help offer opportunities for young people in our community. For example, I help young people progress in their literacy reading levels during out-of-school time.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I enjoy spending quality time with my son. I also enjoy camping, hiking and helping on the family farm.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
I would like to buy land and start an alternative school.
