Mental health is an essential part of a healthy community.

At United Way of Central Minnesota, we believe everyone deserves access to the support, services, and resources needed to thrive. Yet for many people, barriers like transportation, cost, stigma, or simply not knowing where to turn can make it difficult to get help.

That's why we're working with community partners to bring mental health support closer to where people live, learn, work, and gather. By connecting services to familiar and trusted spaces, we can reduce barriers, improve access to care, and help individuals get support before challenges become crises.

Our Healthy Community work focuses on building a stronger, more connected network of care that makes it easier for people to find the support they need. Through collaboration, early intervention, and coordinated services, we're helping create a community where everyone feels supported, connected, and able to reach their full potential.

Our Goal

Increase access to mental health support by bringing services directly into the community and making it easier for people to connect with the care they need.
