Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a stable financial future.
At United Way of Central Minnesota, we know that many individuals and families are working hard every day yet still struggle to make ends meet. For households living paycheck to paycheck, a single unexpected expense can create a financial crisis.
That's why we work alongside community partners to connect people with the tools, resources, and support they need to strengthen their financial wellbeing. Through education, coaching, and access to critical resources, we're helping individuals and families build the skills and confidence needed to navigate financial challenges and plan for the future.
Our Financial Security work focuses on supporting ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households by expanding access to financial education and resources in the places people already live, learn, work, and gather. Together, we're helping create pathways to economic mobility, long-term stability, and greater financial resilience.
Our Goal
Increase access to financial education, resources, and support that empower individuals and families to build economic mobility and achieve lasting financial stability.
