What do you do at United Way of Central Minnesota?
I assist with the day-to-day functioning of everything going on in the office. I am responsible for the phones, welcoming visitors, preparing documents, organizing schedules and whatever anyone needs help with in the moment.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy being able to constantly learn about each person’s role and how I can support everyone in the organization. I like knowing that my contributions are a part of something bigger!

Too many to count! Recent favorites are Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer and The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
I love to be outside! Whenever possible, I spend weekends with my husband and family camping, hiking and exploring new cities. At home, I also enjoy reading, crocheting and spending time with my two (naughty) cats. I am just starting my first vegetable garden this year, so I’m really hoping that gardening becomes a new passion … or at least that something grows!
What's one thing on your bucket list?
I’d love to publish a work of writing—either a book, collection of short stories or collection of poems.
