Hurricane Ike Response
United Way of Central Minnesota is monitoring the situation in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. The American Red Cross, the Salvation Army and other disaster relief organizations are fully engaged with the relief effort at this time and providing immediate support to the Hurricane victims.
The current focus is on helping with immediate needs. There may be a time in the future where United Way will focus on long term recovery by facilitating the collection of goods and materials as well as recruiting volunteers to help with the rebuilding process in Texas and other impacted areas.
