About Us

Confidentiality and Security

It is the policy and practice of United Way of Central Minnesota not to sell and/or provide any other organization with information on our donors.

The information which United Way gathers is used solely for the tracking of individual donor contributions. If you have questions about this, or other confidentiality policies, please contact Noreen J. Dunnells, 320.252-0227.

Your Security

We use Equifax Secure to ensure complete security while transferring potentially sensitive or private information from your web browser to United Way's systems. When using our donation forms, your browser will clearly indicate that a "secured session" has been started. Watch for a small key or padlock to appear in the lower part of the browser's display; when active, you are guaranteed that all information entered is "encrypted" (or scrambled), sent to United Way, and then decoded. This protects unauthorized viewers from reading your information; even if prying eyes CAN intercept your data, they will not be able to interpret it.

Visit Equifax Secure for more information about Internet security.

Optional Form Fields

When using the online donation forms, please pay close attention to the "Required Fields" denoted with red asterisks. These fields will be used by United Way to process your donation, verify your credit card (when appropriate), and provide receipts for single donations exceeding $250. Optional fields are used by United Way only to maintain accurate donor records.

Refund Policy

Thank you for your contribution. While we consider your donation to be a completed transaction, if you have any questions, please call our office at 320-252-0227.
